How to Play

33 Seconds of Chaos is a party game for 3 to 8 players that teaches in about two minutes. On your turn, you flip a Word card. The player to your left calls a random number from 1 to 9 to choose what you play. Most of the time you get a word and draw a Chaos card to clue it out in 33 seconds. Sometimes you trigger a Duel instead.

  1. Flip a Word card. The player to your left calls 1 to 9.
  2. If you hit a Word, draw a Chaos card. It tells you how you must give clues.
  3. Start a 33 second timer (use your phone timer). Give clues while everyone else shouts guesses.
  4. First correct guess scores. You and the guesser each get 1 point.
  5. If the number hits the Duel! on the Word card, you draw a Duel card instead. A neutral player runs the duel and judges close calls. Winner gets 2 points. Duels have no time limit.
  6. Put used cards on the bottom of their decks. Play moves clockwise. After 5 rounds, the highest score wins.

TL;DR: Flip a Word card, next player calls 1 to 9. Word means draw a Chaos card and clue for 33 seconds. Duel means draw a Duel card and face off for 2 points. Highest score after 5 rounds wins. Ties go to a duel.
